Deli - Saas Restaurant
A comprehensive API-first Restaurant POS and Management System designed to streamline restaurant operations, including order processing, table reservations, kitchen workflows, delivery management, and real-time monitoring. The platform provides an end-to-end solution for restaurants, combining POS functionality, kitchen automation, reporting, and customer management within a single scalable ecosystem.
A fully integrated Restaurant POS and Operations Management System built with an API-first architecture to support seamless integration with multiple applications and third-party services. The platform enables restaurants to efficiently manage delivery orders, pickup orders, dine-in operations, table reservations, and customer relationships through a centralized administration panel.
The system features an advanced Kitchen Management Workflow capable of automatically distributing order items across multiple specialized kitchens, such as Western, Eastern, Asian, and Bar stations. Each kitchen receives only the items relevant to its workflow while all orders remain synchronized within a central order hub for complete operational visibility.
To ensure fast and reliable restaurant operations, the platform provides real-time order updates using Pusher, allowing kitchen screens and operational dashboards to stay synchronized instantly. A dedicated printing integration service was developed to communicate with thermal printers, enabling automatic printing of kitchen tickets, invoices, and operational receipts.
Additional features include dynamic promotions and discount campaigns, add-ons and modifiers management, market-price item support, customer management, profit tracking, and comprehensive business reporting. The system was designed with scalability, performance, and operational efficiency in mind, making it suitable for both single-location restaurants and multi-branch restaurant businesses.
One of the most complex challenges was designing a workflow capable of splitting a single order across multiple independent kitchen stations while maintaining synchronization between kitchen screens, printers, and the main operational dashboard in real time.
Another challenge involved building a reliable printing infrastructure that could communicate with various thermal printers and ensure that every kitchen received the correct production tickets without delays or duplication.
These challenges were addressed through a clean and scalable business logic architecture, an API-first design approach, and real-time event broadcasting using Pusher. A dedicated printer integration layer was also developed to handle communication with printing devices, ensuring operational stability, speed, and accuracy across the entire restaurant workflow.
