Abkar offers translation, localization, proofreading, interpretation, machine-translation post-editing, desktop publishing (DTP), transcription, transcreation, and subtitling and voice-over. The website gives each of these nine services its own detailed page, alongside pages for the industries the company serves, the languages it supports, careers, contact and an Arabic and English company profile. The site runs in Arabic and English with full RTL support, and navigation uses Livewire's wire:navigate for fast, app-like page transitions without full reloads. Visitors can send messages through the contact form or apply through the careers form, which accepts a CV and a portfolio upload. Behind the site is a custom admin dashboard built with Livewire. From it, the client edits the content of the home, about, contact, careers and languages pages in both languages, creates and edits industry pages with their own content, manages the trusted-clients logos and general settings, and reviews incoming messages and job applications.

The client needed a site that feels fast and polished in two languages and two directions, yet stays fully editable by a non-technical team — including adding new industry pages — without a developer for every content change. The site also had to serve large promotional videos smoothly on every device.

I stored the editable content as translatable fields with spatie/laravel-translatable, so each page and industry holds its Arabic and English versions side by side and the dashboard edits both in one place. Livewire powers both the admin screens and the public forms, with validation, file uploads and instant feedback alerts. For media, I added a streaming endpoint that supports HTTP range requests, so videos start quickly and can be seeked without downloading the whole file.
